Purpose To foster connections and networking between corporate and professional "Women of Color" with women of RWN. "Women of Color" is defined as African-American, Latino, Native-American and Asian-American/Pacific Islander. Goals of "Women Connecting with Other Women" Initiative  1) To increase awareness of RWN, specifically by professional women of color.  2) To increase the enrollment of professional women of color in RWN.  3) To increase the participation of professional women of color in RWN.  4) To establish mentoring/working and transcultural opportunities for all        women in the network.  5) To continue to encourage ALL women to join and participate in RWN.  6) To establish more collaborations (like the one we have with NAWBO) with       other women's organizations (for e.g., Latinas Unidas).  7) To be sure the network is meeting the needs of all our members, including       the "enhanced" members (advocates, mentors, and patrons).  8) To increase the visibility of women of color in our programs.                          RWN President and Board of Directors "Board Retreat": Held January 10, 2009 at the Century Club of Rochester                              "Centers of Influence Connecting Breakfast": A breakfast was held in March 18, 2009 at the Century Club of Rochester to begin discussions on collaborations with women's organizations and women leaders.
