ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IS EVERYONE'S BUSINESS: INTEGRATE PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SECTOR TOOLS TO SUPPLEMENT YOUR GROWTH STRATEGY
The resurgence of the regional economy has everything to do with how each of us can contribute to economic growth by our own professional and personal efforts. The 2008 RWN Business Conference offers a diverse menu of sessions and speakers that can help you achieve your own professional goals and learn how we can work together as a community to be the best that we can be. The program includes offerings that relate to a wide range of business and professional development interests.

From business owners to large company employees, you'll learn about strategies, tools and tips that will help you achieve your career and business goals.

Topic Tracks and Session Breakouts are targeted to address key challenges facing businesses and the workforce in Rochester. Topic experts have been secured to lead each session and provide deep insight and thoughtful discussion.

During the Business Conference you can also visit the "
Exhibitor Marketplace
" which will feature products and services of interest to business professionals.

The day will end with a Closing Session featuring Patricia Malgieri, Deputy Mayer, City of Rochester as she explores the view of economic development from City Hall.

Full Day attendees will also have the opportunity to attend an "after hours" style social
Networking Session
, including hors d'ouevres and refreshments. Only attendees registered for the full day conference may attend this networking event.

The
Up and Coming Businesswomens' Awards Luncheon continues to be the centerpiece of the day's events. The prestigious Businesswomen's Awards is presented annually to local women who have worked full-time in their current career fields for fewer than 10 years and who have successfully demonstrated their professional influence in that field through accomplishments, career growth, advancement, innovative and creative thinking and initiative at work and in the community. To see the 2008 List of Honorees, go to our website: www.rwn.org.

Register for the Up and Coming Luncheon ONLY. ($50/seat or $450/table of 10)
