RWN'S 1st Annual Appeal "The Women for All Seasons Initiative: Dedicated to the Advancement of Women throughout their Lives."

Dear RWN Members and Friends, It was with great pride that we celebrated RWN'S 30th Anniversary. Building on our many achievements, RWN has launched its First Annual Appeal "The Women for All Seasons Initiative: Dedicated to the Advancement of Women throughout their Lives." This initiative will contribute to the many facets of our RWN Legacy. As I reflect on RWN'S thirty years of accomplishments, I am reminded of Margaret Mead's provocative statement: "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, concerned citizens can change the world. Indeed it is the only thing that ever does." Mead would have been very proud of RWN'S Founding Mothers who in 1978 organized a proactive women's network. Their vision continues today creating a dynamic organization that offers its members challenging and stimulating programs, a wealth of valuable benefits, personal and professional support and networking opportunities. The magic of RWN is not duplicated anywhere else in our community. Its mission provides a multifaceted forum where women make connections to ride the wave of change, moving forward and upward in their personal and professional lives. RWN members continue to provide strong economic contributions to the Greater Rochester area and beyond.
